The house is located on the main street in Heimstetten about 120 meters north of the St. Ulrich chapel at the confluence with Von-Pienzenauer-Straße. The living part of the former farm that has been preserved is about 7 meters long and 10 meters wide. It is single-story and has a gable roof. The gable side faces east to Hauptstrasse, the southern eaves face to Von-Pienzenauer-Strasse.

history

The farm was built in the middle of the 19th century. In the 1950s, the then still independent community of Heimstetten acquired the farm. The farm section with the stable and barn were demolished. In their place, a multi-purpose building was built on the surviving residential building. The ground floor was initially used as a fire fighting equipment house, the upper floor as the town hall. After Heimstetten was incorporated into Kirchheim in 1978, the fire brigade also used the upper floor. In 2000 the fire department moved to a new building. The Meilerhaus then became a meeting point for clubs and venues for the adult education center and for exhibitions
