House Krahn
The Krahn house is located in Bremen , Schwachhausen district, Schwachhausen district, Lüder-von-Bentheim-Strasse 51 at the corner of Georg-Gröning-Strasse 53. The house was built in 1914 according to plans by Carl Krahn . It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1981 .
history
The two- to three-story, plastered house with a mansard roof was built in 1913/14 at the turn of the century for the building contractor G. Krahn. The house with the basement has a distinctive mean risalit and an extension with a veranda on Georg-Gröning-Straße.
The architect Carl Krahn has u. a. In Schwachhausen, many other houses are planned in the traditional style, such as Haus Meyer , Haus Pape , Ensemble Gravelottestrasse (Bremer Sanssouci) and the Bremen Logenhaus .
In the neighborhood there are other listed (No. 10 Haus Pastor D. Funcke , No. 23 Haus Heye ) and noteworthy (including No. 12, 14, 19, 21, 22, 25, 27, 34) houses.
Today (2018) the house is used by apartments and a practice.
