House Plange

The house Plange is under monument protection standing villa in Wuppertal district Elberfeld , at Busch cottage 9 , in the Brill district .

The building was built between 1905 and 1907 and is attributed to the government builder and architect Heinrich Plange , who designed numerous villas in the district. It was lived in by Plange (1857–1942) himself with his family of five until at least 1914, but probably until August 1918, when he took up his permanent residence after the death of his wife (1916) and his two fallen sons (1915 and 1917) Gruiten moved to his summer house.

The two-storey building with a plastered facade is approximately symmetrical on the street side and has curved oriels on the sides . The hipped roof is equipped with a central dwelling .

On November 16, 1984, the villa including the outdoor facilities was placed under a preservation order.
