Hausbrandt Trieste 1892 SpA is an Italian coffee roasting and trading company based in Nervesa della Battaglia in the province of Treviso .
The company was founded in Trieste in 1892 by Hermann Hausbrandt , a former commander of the Austrian Merchant Navy . At that time, Hausbrandt became the first company to pack roasted coffee in sealed metal containers and thus bring it to market. Today the company belongs to the coffee entrepreneur Martino Zanetti .
