The Haussee is a lake on the western edge of Schorssow in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in the middle of Mecklenburg Switzerland and the nature park Mecklenburg Switzerland and Kummerower See . The maximum extent of the 1.9  m above sea level. 22.2 hectares of water surface located at NHN is 730 meters by 370 meters. Despite its small size, it reaches depths of over 10 meters, making it a cryptodepression , while its close vicinity rises to over 50 meters. Tributaries are ditches on its west side, including a ditch from the nearby Bornsee. There is no surface drainage.

Except for a few places, the banks are covered with trees. On the south bank, where the district road 44 runs, is the manor house Schorssow with its park, at the southeast end, towards the village, there is a bathing place, just north of it the "desert church" Schorssow in an old manor park. A dendrological nature trail leads around the lake.
