The Havstein (mutatis mutandis translated from Norwegian Sea Stone ) is a 5 km long and 3 km wide rocky island off the coast of the East Antarctic Kemplands . It is located 2.5 km north of Law Promontory and 1.5 km east of Brøka Island .

Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped the island based on aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
