Hawai ( Kaman-Mishmi for "pond") is the capital of the Anjaw district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh . Hawai is located at 1,296 meters above sea level on the Lohit River . The larger town of Hayuliang is 58 kilometers to the north-west , where 1834 people lived in 2011.
