Haworthia koelmaniorum is a species of the genus Haworthia in the subfamily of the Affodilla family (Asphodeloideae).

description

Haworthia koelmaniorum grows without a stem and sprouts slowly. The 14 to 20 egg-shaped, slightly bent back leaves form a rosette with a diameter of 5 to 7 centimeters. The dark brownish green, opaque leaf blade is 7 inches long and 2 inches wide. The leaf surface is rough. There are small raised warts on it. The leaf edge and the leaf quill are covered with small thorns .

The slender inflorescence reaches a length of up to 35 centimeters and consists of 10 to 15 slender flowers . The tepals are rolled back.

Systematics and distribution

Haworthia koelmaniorum is widespread in the South African province of Mpumalanga .

The first description by Anna Amelia Obermeyer and David Spencer Hardy was published in 1967.

A nomenklatorisches synonyms is Haworthia limifolia subsp. koelmaniorum (Oberm. & DSHardy) Halda (1997).

A distinction is made between the following varieties :
