Haworthia springbokvlakensis is a species of the genus Haworthia in the subfamily of the Affodill family (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet springbokvlakensis refers to the occurrence of the species in Springbokvlake in South Africa.

description

Haworthia springbokvlakensis grows single and without stem . The eight to twelve solid leaves form a rosette with a diameter of up to 10 centimeters. The leaf blade is 6 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. It is strongly rounded and truncated. The leaf surface is smooth. There are several short longitudinal lines on the translucent end face.

The inflorescence reaches a length of 20 to 25 centimeters. The white flowers have a brownish vein.

Systematics and distribution

Haworthia springbokvlakensis is widespread in the South African province of Eastern Cape in the east of the Little Karoo .

The first description by Charles Leslie Scott was published in 1970. A nomenclature synonym is Haworthia retusa var. Springbokvlakensis (CLScott) Halda (1997).
