Career

Sasaki learned to play football on the university team at Osaka Gakuin University . He signed his first contract with Montedio Yamagata in 2005 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club, he completed 119 league games. In 2008 he moved to the first division club Gamba Osaka . In 2008 he won the AFC Champions League with the club . In 201 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club . For the club, he completed 111 first division games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor Vegalta Sendai . For the club he completed 32 first division games. In 2015 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Sanga FC .
