Hayko Siemens

Hayko Siemens (* 1954 in Schleswig-Holstein) is a German church musician .

Siemens studied with Hans Gebhard , Walter Kraft , Michael Schneider and Marie-Claire Alain . At the age of sixteen he made his concert debut in Berlin. His first field of activity was the Erlöserkirche in Bad Homburg in front of the height . There he initiated the biennial Fugato Organ Festival in 1995 , of which he was artistic director until 2012. From 1996 to 2016 he worked at the Church of St. Matthew in Munich . From 1998 to 2013 he was also director of the Münchner Motettenchor .
