Hayn's Park
Hayns Park is a park in the Hamburg district of Eppendorf am Alsterlauf . It was opened to the public in 1931. The famous Alster hiking trail leads through the park .
The children's paddling pool and a Monopteros designed by Otto Linne are characteristic of Hayns Park .
Hayns Park is named after Senator Max Theodor Hayn , the successor to Senator Jenisch , who acquired the garden in 1873 and used it as a summer residence with a villa. At that time the property had an area of 27,300 square meters. In the course of the Alster canalization, the garden changed significantly. From the original garden only the Monopteros and a few trees remained.
The Monopteros was renovated from summer 2016 to April 2019 due to dilapidation and is now artistically designed twice a year.
