The Heap Glacier is a 16 km long glacier in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It flows east of Henry Mesa in a north-easterly direction to the Mulock Glacier .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own tellurometer measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1965 after the British polar explorer John Arnfield Heap (1932-2006), who between 1962 and In 1963 he was part of a University of Michigan team exploring the Ross Ice Shelf and headed the Scott Polar Research Institute from 1992 to 1997 .
