In libraries , bookshops and literary studies, Hebraica is handwritten or printed literature that has been written or printed in the Hebrew language or with Hebrew characters . This includes, for example, literature printed with Hebrew letters in the Yiddish language and Jewish Spanish or ancient literature in the Crimean language .

Occasionally other publications dealing with the Hebrew language are also counted among the Hebraica. The content of a work is otherwise meaningless for the classification as Hebraicum, while Judaica are defined by their content.
