Hedensö.

Hedensö is an estate in the Swedish municipality of Eskilstuna . It is located in the central Swedish province of Södermanland County or the historical province of Södermanland , about 80 kilometers southwest of Stockholm directly on Lake Näshulta (Näshultasjön).

Hedensö was first mentioned in a document in 1295. In 1783 Hedensö was sold to Anders Arfwedson, one of the directors of the East India Company. The original mansion was completely destroyed in a fire around 1800. It was rebuilt around 1806 to 1808. However, the wing buildings are from the time of the original manor house and are therefore much older. Large-scale agriculture and forestry belonged to the property . The farm buildings on the opposite side of the lake are still in use today. For economic reasons, Johan August Arfwedson's great-grandson , Kapten Nils Ludvig Arfwedson, decided to sell the country estate in 1967. Since then, the estate has been owned by the Graflund family.
