Hegel Prize
The Hegel Prize was founded in 1967 by the City of Stuttgart and has been awarded every three years since 1970 in cooperation with the International Hegel Association to a philosopher or humanities scholar. The reason for the foundation was the 200th birthday of the city's son Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel . The international award is endowed with 12,000 euros (as of 2018).
