The Heibruchbach , also according to Heierlöher Bach , is an approx. 250 m long left tributary of the Wupper , which is called Wipper here in the upper reaches. The brook rises at 359 m in a spring pond on the northern flank of the Schöttlenberg in the Marienheid district of Heierlöh . It feeds three other ponds in the village in quick succession and flows mostly piped in a northerly direction, crosses under the route of the Wippertalbahn and the federal highway 256 and shortly afterwards flows into the Wupper at 327 m altitude.
