Heiderose Gläß

Heiderose Gläß (born January 12, 1951 in Aue ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). From 2009 to 2014 she was a member of the Saxon State Parliament .

Life

Gläß worked from 1971 to 1985, interrupted by a stay in Kiev from 1974 to 1977, as a teacher in Bernsbach , Sondershausen and ultimately in Löbau . She then worked for the SED (or PDS) district leadership in Löbau until 1991, where she was responsible for schools until 1989. After retraining to become a business IT specialist , she worked as a social worker from 1994 to 1997 . From 1998 she was an employee of the PDS and later its successor party Die Linke.

Gläß had been a member of the SED since 1969 and later the PDS and the Left. From 1995 to 2005 she was on the state board of the PDS Saxony. From 1999 to 2008 she was in the district council of the Löbau-Zittau district and from 2004 to 2009 in the Lawalde district council . In September 2009 she entered the state parliament of Saxony on behalf of the left. There she is a member of the Committee on School and Sport and the Petitions Committee.

In the state elections in 2014 , she missed re-entry into the state parliament on list position 39.

Heiderose Gläß is married, has two grown children and lives near Löbau in the Lawalder district of Kleindehsa .
