Heidi Gerhard

Heidi Gerhard (* 3. January 1941 in Stralsund as Heidi Gem ) is a former German sprinter , referring to the 400-meter dash had specialized.

In 1970 she was German runner-up in the hall and third in the German championships (with her personal best of 53.89 s).

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 in Vienna, she won the silver medal in the mixed relay with the German team consisting of Elfgard Schittenhelm , Christa Merten and Jutta von Haase . In the open air, she took second place in the European Athletics Cup in 1970 with the 4 x 400 meter relay. In 1970 she appeared in the national jersey of the Federal Republic of Germany four times.

Heidi Gerhard started for SVA Gütersloh until 1965 , from 1966 to 1968 for LC Dortmund and from 1969 for OSC Dortmund .
