Jutta von Haase
Jutta von Haase (born December 21, 1939 ) is a former German middle and long distance runner .
In 1968 she became German runner-up over 800 meters both indoors and outdoors , and in 1970 she became German indoor champion over 1500 meters . At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1970 in Vienna, she won silver as the final runner in the mixed relay.
She had actually already ended her sporting career when she started at the premiere of the Berlin Marathon in 1974 . In 1976 she was second in the Berlin Marathon in 3:05:19 h, and in 1977 she was fifth in the German Marathon Championship in 2:58:47 h. In 1979 she won the Berlin Marathon for the second time in 3:07:07 h, and in 1983 she finished seventh in this race with her personal best of 2:53:43 h and was the winner in the W40 age group.
