Gungelshausen is a district of the Willingshausen community in the Schwalm-Eder district in northern Hesse .

Gungelshausen is located in the south of the Schwalm and consists of five farms .

history

The village is first mentioned in writing in a document dated April 2, 1258. The mill ground grain from 1585 to 1983.

As part of the regional reform in Hesse , Gungelshausen was connected to the Antrefftal on December 31, 1971 . With this it came on January 1, 1974 as a district to the community Willingshausen.
