Heidi Lambert-Lang

Heidi Lambert-Lang (born February 11, 1937 in Köslin , Pomerania ) was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice from 1981 until she retired in 2002 .

Lambert-long first grew in Wartheland on until it by expulsion as a result of the Second World War in the Eifel came when in 1956 Prüm her high school took off. She then studied at the universities of Frankfurt am Main , Munich and Cologne law . In 1964 Lambert-Lang joined the judicial service of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate . She received her doctorate in 1969 . In 1974 she was appointed judge at the Palatinate Higher Regional Court in Zweibrücken . Appointed as a research assistant to the judge at the Federal Court of Justice in 1981 after being seconded to the Federal Constitutional Court, she was a member of the Fifth Civil Senate for the entire duration of her membership of this court. In 2002 she became ombudswoman of the German private building societies. She held this position until the end of 2011.

From 1994 she was also chairwoman of the judges' council of the Federal Court of Justice, to which she had belonged since 1991.
