Heidi Möller

Heidi Möller (born April 18, 1960 in Dortmund ) is a university professor for theory and methodology of counseling at the University of Kassel . Until autumn 2007 she was a professor at the University of Innsbruck , where she headed the Institute for Communication in Professional Life and Psychotherapy. At the same time she was dean of the Faculty of Education.

Professional background

She studied psychology at the University of Münster (1979–1981) and at the Ruhr University Bochum (1981–1985). After therapeutic and diagnostic activities as an institutional psychologist in the JVAs Dortmund , Hagen and Schwerte , she switched to the TU Berlin in 1991 as a research assistant in the field of clinical psychology / psychotherapy . In 1992 she opened a psychotherapeutic practice in Berlin . After completing her doctorate in 1994, she worked as a university assistant at the TU from 1995 to 2001.

In 1998 she received a teaching position from the University of Amsterdam with a focus on supervision research, and in 1999 a teaching position from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg .

In 2000 , Heidi Möller completed her habilitation and subsequently took on various teaching activities, including a. at the Danube University Krems , the University of Kassel and in Zurich . In 2003 she accepted the position at the University of Innsbruck. In 2007 she accepted a call to the University of Kassel.

In addition to academic and therapeutic activities, Heidi Möller was also active in the media, including for SAT 1 and ZDF. As a supervisor, coach and organizational consultant, she looked after various organizations and managers.

Therapy training

Heidi Möller completed various therapy training courses, including talk therapy and behavioral therapy . She graduated as an integrative therapist at the Fritz Perls Institute in 1993 and was admitted as a teaching therapist in 1996. In 1999 she was licensed as a psychological psychotherapist and entered the Berlin medical register. By 2002 she completed further training as a psychoanalyst . She is a member of both the Austrian and the German Society for Supervision .
