Heiko Michael Hartmann

Heiko Michael Hartmann (* 1957 in Miltenberg ) is a German lawyer and writer .

Life

Heiko Michael Hartmann grew up in Würzburg . He studied law and philosophy at the universities of Würzburg and Geneva and then worked as an administrative lawyer at the Federal Banking Supervisory Office. He then took a leave of absence to work as an author in Berlin .

The poet lawyer is the author of three novels : While "MOI" (1997) is a fantastic description of a bizarre epidemic, "Unterm Bett" (2000) is a satire from the German civil service milieu. In 2006 "The Black Egg" was released. His work is published by Hanser Verlag , Munich .

Heiko Michael Hartmann received the 3Sat scholarship at the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt in 1996 and the Kurd Laßwitz Prize for the best fantastic radio play in 1999 .
