Heilandskirche Orlishausen
The Heilandskirche is located in the Orlishausen district of the city of Sömmerda in the Sömmerda district in Thuringia .
history
The church , originally consecrated to St. Boniface , was first mentioned in 1506. It was mentioned again in 1650 when it fell victim to a fire. It was rebuilt as the Salvator (Savior) Church. In 1970 the baroque hood was put on and in 1891 the nave was adapted to the choir during reconstruction . Inside there is a pulpit and the choir room.
The bell from 1662 was restored by two French bell founders.
In September 2010 the church received two new bells. The two old ones are in the cemetery.
