Saints of Eastern Christianity
Many church fathers such as B. Clemens of Alexandria, some well-known bishops like Nikolaus von Myra , some monks like Maron, Charbel, women of the church (e.g. from Saint Helena to Rebekka Ar Rayès) and some popes ( Anicetus , Theodor I ) come from the Area of eastern Christianity .
Some saints are recognized by the Eastern Churches and the Roman Catholic Church , although there are also saints who are only recognized by one of the two churches (e.g. Photios I or Rebekka Ar Rayès).
