Heimo Liebl

Heimo Liebl (born April 23, 1937 in Ingolstadt ) is a German pastor.

In 1956, Liebl passed his Abitur at the Oberrealschule in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria , studied theology at the Neuendettelsau Church and the University of Heidelberg as well as in Tübingen and Erlangen, and passed the two theological exams. From 1961 to 1964 he was city vicar in St. Michaelis in the Upper Franconian Court , and in 1965 he became a pastor. From 1971 on he headed the Nuremberg City Mission and worked in pastoral care for the blind. In 1983 he changed as pastor to the Gospel Church in Munich in the Hasenbergl district and was also vice dean of Munich North, from 1986 to 1993 he practiced his profession as pastor at the St. Markus Church in Munich , where he was also very involved in working with blind people and was dean of Munich. In 1990 he became honorary president of the Diakonisches Werk of the Evangelical Church in Bavaria, this office was converted into a main office in 1993. He was a member of the Bavarian Senate from August 1, 1995 until it was dissolved at the end of 1999 . Since 2001 he has lived with his wife as a pensioner in Weilheim, Upper Bavaria, and occasionally works as a pastor.
