Heiner Gross
Heiner Gross (born December 2, 1923 in Winterthur ; † May 2, 1993 ) was a Swiss writer for young people. The son of a Winterthur city police officer initially worked as a machine draftsman and excavator entrepreneur, at the age of 39 he changed his career and became a journalist and writer , the flair for technology can be felt again and again in his works. The greatest successes were the children's book trilogy 3: 0 for the beards (1959; over 300,000 copies sold), tumult on the Kyburg and Sabor's wonder boat, and the youth crime trilogy Der Schwarze Jack .
