Želimir Vuković (born April 29, 1983 in Adinkuru , France) is a Serbian ski racer . He mainly starts in slalom and giant slalom .

Vuković was initially French, but changed his nationality in 2004/2005 and became a Serb. At this point, he had only competed in FIS races and other low-class competitions since starting his career in 1998 , and he had competed in both French and Yugoslav championships. While he had no chance at the French championships, he often achieved one of the top ten places in the Yugoslav competitions.

After taking part in the Alpine World Ski Championships in Bormio for the first time in February 2005 , but not reaching the finish line in both competitions, he made it into the World Cup for the first time at the end of the year. In Kranjska Gora and Adelboden , however, he did not finish again, so that he could not start in other World Cups. Nevertheless, Vuković was called up for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin as the only skier in the squad of the then Serbian-Montenegrin team.

Also in Turin he could not achieve a result because he was disqualified. In the following year, his appearances were again limited to FIS and lower-class races. His next major international competition was the 2007 Alpine World Ski Championships in Åre , where he again missed a place.

In his career, Vuković was able to win a total of three FIS races and come on the podium fourteen times, four times in giant slalom and ten times in slalom. In addition, he triumphed once at the Yugoslav championships in slalom and came on the podium several times at national championships.
