Heinrich Henne Medal

The Heinrich Henne Medal is an award from the Association for the Promotion of German Fire Protection .

The foundation took place in 1962. The patron saint is Heinrich Henne (1865–1945), who is considered a co-founder of technical fire protection research. The bronze medal is a non-wearable award and has a diameter of 41 mm. It is awarded as a special honor to personalities who have made a contribution to promoting the association's goals. The award includes honorary membership in the VfdB.

The obverse of the medal shows the head portrait of Hennes with his name and dates of life Heinrich Henne 1865–1945 . The reverse, on the other hand, shows a flame in the middle with the inscription: For outstanding services to the technical and scientific development of fire protection VfdB 1962
