Heinrich Angermeier
Heinrich Angermeier (born April 5, 1884 in Groß -zimmer ; † February 22, 1945 in Dachau concentration camp ) was a German politician ( KPD ) and farmer.
Life
Angermeier was the son of the baker Anton Angermeier and his wife Magdalena nee Krauss (Weber describes the father as a "socialist-oriented farmer"). Angermeier, who was of a Catholic denomination, married Anna Maria Kern in the first marriage and Christina Strauss in the second marriage. Sprout.
He was seriously wounded in World War I and in 1920 he joined the Communist Party of Germany, for which he was elected to the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in 1924 , where he gained a reputation as an agricultural expert. Angermeier always remained a farmer in Groß-Zimmer and only took on honorary party functions, for example as a member of the Darmstadt sub-district management. 1927 re-elected to Parliament, stepped Anger Meier, the party internally to the "right" wing around Thalheimer and Brandler counted, after the exclusion of his party colleagues Heinrich Galm early 1929 from the KPD and the closed Communist Party Opposition (KPO) to, for which he fulfilled his state parliament mandate until the end of the legislative period. Unlike Galm, Angermeier did not succeed in being re-elected to the state parliament in 1931.
After the NSDAP came to power in 1933, Angermeier was arrested and held in the Osthofen concentration camp for over a year . After his release he worked again on his farm in Groß -zimmer until 1944. He was arrested again on August 22, 1944 as part of the Grid Action and deported to the Dachau concentration camp on August 25, 1944, where he died on February 22, 1945.
