Heinrich Becker (politician, 1883)

Heinrich Becker , also Heinz Becker (born November 7, 1883 in Esens , † April 10, 1935 in Münster ) was a German politician and district leader of the NSDAP.

Life

Heinrich Becker was born as the son of Johann Heinrich Becker (train master trainee) and after completing his school and professional training initially worked as Reich Colonial Office Secretary in Togo until he came to Coesfeld in 1919 and married a restaurant here. He was politically active and since 1933 a member of the district committee and district administrative court of the Coesfeld district . On April 5, 1933, he became an alderman of the city of Coesfeld (unpaid). That year he was also a candidate for the elections to the Prussian state parliament. Becker was chairman of the board of the Coesfeld savings and loan association, chairman of the district middle class association Coesfeld e. V. as well as administrator of the business group for the catering and accommodation industry.

Heinz Becker was born with his widow Maria Bertling. Mey married. She was the daughter of the owner of the train station hotel in Coesfeld. He adopted the five children from his wife's first marriage and had one more child with her.
