Heinrich Bertram (singer)

Heinrich Bertram ( 1825 in Braunschweig - November 18, 1903 in Stuttgart ) was a German opera singer ( baritone ).

Life

He worked 1846 in Göttingen, 1847 in Düsseldorf, 1848 in Detmold, 1849 in Mainz, 1850 to 1853 in Königsberg, 1854 in Danzig, 1855 to 1857 in Bremen, 1858 to 1862 in Leipzig, 1862 to 1866 in Wiesbaden and from 1866 to 1881 as a baritone player in Stuttgart. Around 1900 he was a professor at the Conservatory of Music in Stuttgart.

He was married to the opera singer Marie Bertram , whose sons were the opera singer Theodor Bertram and the actor Ernst Bertram .
