Heinrich Biermann

Heinrich Biermann (born September 28, 1938 in Hildesheim ; † June 8, 2003 in Giesen ) was a German architect and politician ( CDU ).

Biermann attended elementary school in Giesen and completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter . After two years as a carpenter journeyman , he attended evening high school in Hildesheim. Between 1958 and 1961 he studied architecture at the Hildesheim University of Applied Sciences . Between 1961 and 1985 he was employed in a larger architectural office. Biermann had been a freelance architect in Hildesheim since 1986.

Biermann became politically active when he joined the CDU in 1967. Between 1975 and 1993 he was chairman of the Giesen CDU community association and, from 1985, chairman of the Hildesheim CDU district association. Between 1972 and 1974 Biermann was councilor of the Klein Giesen community and then from 1974 to June 1990 he was councilor of the Giesen community. In 1972 he became a member of the district council and from 1978 to 1991 was the first deputy district administrator of the Hildesheim district .

Biermann was in the 12th electoral term from June 21, 1990 to June 20, 1994 member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .
