Heinrich Christian Sieveking
Heinrich Christian Sieveking (born April 5, 1752 in Hamburg ; † January 30, 1809 there ) was a German merchant and Hamburg senator.
The younger brother of the Enlightenment Officer Georg Heinrich Sieveking was elected Hamburg Senator on September 17, 1800 as the first of the Sieveking family . He was married to Caroline Louise Volkmann; the eldest son Eduard Heinrich Sieveking (1790–1868) went to London as a merchant and founded the English family branch there (see Edward Sieveking ). A younger daughter was Amalie Sieveking , the founder of female diakonia in Germany.
