Heinrich Eversberg

Heinrich Eversberg (born September 15, 1910 in Hattingen ; † June 9, 1996 ibid) was a German district home nurse for the Ennepe-Ruhr district and director of studies at the Waldstrasse grammar school in Hattingen.

He studied German, English, geography and geology at the Universities of Marburg , Bonn , Vienna and Münster from 1929 to 1934. He received his doctorate in 1954 in Münster as a doctor of natural sciences. His dissertation topic was "The emergence of heavy industry around Hattingen 1847–1857".

Among other things, Eversberg was involved in excavations in Altendorf Castle . Between 1969 and 1989 he laid the foundations of Isenburg, where Arnold von Altena and Friedrich von Isenberg lived . More than 500 students supported him. He was also involved in founding the local history museum in the iron house in 1955 , which exhibits many of the finds made by his excavation team in the Isenburg.
