Heinrich Heilinger
Karl Heinrich Heilinger (born January 28, 1899 in Vienna ; † after 1944) was an Austrian actor on stage and in film.
Live and act
Heilinger first completed an agricultural training. The First World War ended this, he became a soldier and artillery officer. After the end of the war he studied in Vienna at the State Academy for Music and Performing Arts , where he was trained as an actor.
He had his first engagement in Königsberg. Then he was in Darmstadt, Vienna and Bochum / Duisburg. In later years he also worked as a theater director. His most important stage roles included Orestes, Jedermann, Marquis von Posa and Danton.
Heilinger played theater since the 1920s and appeared at the Schauspielhaus Zurich , among others , before he worked in the German capital from the beginning of the following decade. There he was seen at the Berlin Theater, the Deutsches Theater , the Schiller Theater , the Theater in Stresemannstrasse and the Deutsches Volkstheater . Heilinger spent his last proven season at the Wiener Kammerspiele .
Heilinger made his debut in front of the camera with the dawn of the sound film age. His first film was in 1914, the last days before the world fire . Since 1930 he has worked in very different genres - comedies, Heimatfilm dramas, historical films and Viennese folk plays - including two massively tendentious Nazi film projects: the "biography" of Hans Westmar , based on the fate of Horst Wessel , and the anti-Semitic smear strip Vienna 1910 , sein last screen appearance. Heilinger was filled several times as an academic, but also embodied a bar owner, a government official or a blacksmith.
Heilinger disappeared completely from the public eye after 1944. Since he cannot be proven in films or in the theater after the war, he could not have survived the end of the war.
