Heinrich Hohl

Heinrich Hohl (born January 19, 1900 in Erksdorf ; † December 29, 1968 there ) was a German farmer and politician ( CNBL , later CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school, Hohl completed a winter course at the farmers 'college "Am Knüll" in 1925 and worked until 1933 as head of the state youth organization of the Hessian Farmers' Association (HES). From 1933 to 1946 he worked as a farmer. After the Second World War , he helped found the farmers' association in the Marburg district , which he subsequently chaired. He was also a co-founder of the state youth movement of the farmers 'association and the Hessen farmers' college.

From 1930 to 1933, Hohl was a member of the Christian National Peasant and Rural People's Party (CNBL). In 1933 he was elected deputy mayor of the community of Erkdorf, but was not confirmed in his office due to the seizure of power by the National Socialists.

Hohl joined the CDU in 1946 and has since served as mayor of the Erksdorf community. He was elected to the district council of the Marburg district and had been deputy district administrator there since 1949 . In 1948/49 he was a member of the Economic Council of the Bizone . He was a member of the German Bundestag from November 3, 1949, when he replaced the resigned MP Werner Hilpert , until the end of the first legislative period in 1953. He entered parliament through the state list of Hesse.
