Heinrich II. Von Rosenberg
Heinrich II. Von Rosenberg (Czech: Jindřich II. Z Rožmberka , * around 1320 probably at Krumau Castle in Krumau ; † August 26, 1346 at Crécy-en-Ponthieu ) was a Bohemian nobleman.
Life
Heinrich II. Von Rosenberg came from the Bohemian noble family Rosenberg . His parents were Peter I. von Rosenberg and Katharina von Wartenberg († 1355). Although Heinrich was the eldest son, he did not acquire the position of regent. He died in 1346, a year before his father, together with the Bohemian King John of Luxembourg at the Battle of Crécy . Heinrich's body was buried in the Benedictine monastery Altmünster in Luxembourg .
