Heinrich Kraz

Heinrich Kraz , (born March 27, 1811 in Kirchheim , † December 30, 1891 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg politician.

Heinrich Kraz attended grammar school in Kirchheim. After graduating from high school, he studied philosophy at the Tübingen monastery from 1828 to 1833 . During his studies in 1828 he became a member of the Feuerreiter Tübingen fraternity . In the fall of 1833 he took his exam and was then a deacon in Kleiningersheim. From 1834 he worked as a repetitionist at the evangelical theological seminars in Schöntal and (from 1835) in Tübingen. In 1846 he became a professor at the Protestant theological seminary in Urach . In May 1850 a disciplinary examination took place and Kraz was transferred to Stuttgart for political reasons because of his outstanding behavior , where he was a professor at the secondary school. In 1858 he became the rector of this school. Heinrich Kraz retired in 1878.

Heinrich Kraz was the editor of the "Correspondenzblatt für Schehrten- und Realschulen". In 1876 he was a member of the Conference for German Spelling in Berlin.

In the constituency of Nürtingen, Kraz was elected to the 16th extraordinary state parliament (first constitution-revising state assembly) in 1849 on the recommendation of Theodor Eisenlohr . In 1850 he was also able to prevail in the elections for the 17th extraordinary state parliament (second state assembly advising the constitution) and the 18th extraordinary state parliament (third state assembly advising the constitution).

  • 1878 Knight's Cross 2nd Class of the Order of the Württemberg Crown . The personal nobility was not associated with the Knight's Cross 2nd Class.
