Prince Heinrich LXIII. Reuss

Heinrich LXIII. Prince Reuss zu Köstritz (born June 18, 1786 in Berlin ; † September 27, 1841 in Stonsdorf ) was a representative of the Reuss Princely House .

Life

After the death of his older brother Heinrich LX. (1784-1833) he was the senior of the middle branch of the Köstritz line . He was married twice. At Wernigerode Castle he married Countess Eleonore zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (1801–1827) on February 21, 1819 and after her death on May 11, 1828 Countess Caroline zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (1806–1896), both daughters of Count Henrich zu Stolberg- Wernigerode .

From 1833/34 until his death he was a member of the first chamber of the Saxon state parliament as the owner of the manor appointed by the king . He owned u. a. the manors in Klipphausen , Leichnam and Klix .

  • Johanne, called Jenny (1820–1878), married to Prince Ferdinand zu Schoenaich-Carolath since 1843
  • Heinrich IV. Prince Reuss zu Köstritz (1821–1894), succeeded his cousin Heinrich LXIX as Prince in 1878. Reuss to Köstritz from the older branch
  • Auguste (1822–1862) married the Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin
  • Henry VI. Prince Reuss (1823–1823) died just a few days after giving birth in Wernigerode
  • Heinrich VII. Prince Reuss (1825–1906), adjutant general of Kaiser Wilhelm I, first German ambassador to Constantinople , lived mainly in Trebschen
  • Heinrich X. Prince Reuss (1827–1847), his mother Eleonore died at his birth

From second marriage:

  • Heinrich XII. Prince Reuss (1829–1866), Lord of Stonsdorf, married Countess Anna von Hochberg, Freiin zu Fürstenstein, in 1858
  • Henry XIII. Prince Reuss (1830–1897), Herr zu Baschkow, married Countess Anna von Hochberg, Freiin zu Fürstenstein, in 1869
  • Luise (1832–1862)
  • Henry XV. Prince Reuss (1834–1869), married Countess Luitgarde zu Stolberg-Wernigerode (1838–1917), daughter of Wilhelm zu Stolberg-Wernigerode
  • Anna (1837–1907), married Prince Otto zu Stolberg-Wernigerode in 1863
  • Henry XVII. Prince Reuss (1839–1870), killed in the Battle of Mars-la-Tour
