Heinrich Müller (politician, 1919)
Heinrich Müller (* 28. October 1919 in Klein-Jannewitz in Lauenburg county in Pomerania ; † 10. March 2005 ) was a German politician of the SPD . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1961 to 1965 and from 1969 to 1980 .
Life and accomplishments
Heinrich Müller was born on October 28, 1919 in the village of Klein-Jannewitz in the Lauenburg district in Pomerania. After attending elementary school and business school, he completed an apprenticeship at the city administration of Lauenburg i. Pom. He was a soldier in World War II . At the end of October 1944 he was taken prisoner of war as a first lieutenant and battery leader.
In 1947 Heinrich Müller joined the SPD and made a political career there. From 1950 to 1991 he was a member of the district council of the Wesermarsch district , from 1956 to 1972 its honorary district administrator .
From 1961 to 1965 and from 1969 to 1980 Heinrich Müller was a member of the German Bundestag . He has always entered the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the constituency of Delmenhorst - Wesermarsch .
