Heinrich Philipp List

Heinrich (Philipp) List (born December 31, 1906 in Suhl , † January 19, 1942 in Weimar ) was a German resistance fighter against the Nazi regime .

Life

After attending elementary school, he learned the trade of gunsmith . Together with Guido Heym , Alfred "Max" Gerngroß , Fritz Köhler , Karl Weiß and Friedrich Heinze , he was involved in the anti-fascist resistance. On August 8, 1941, he was registered as a " protective prisoner " with the number 8421 in Suhl. Then the Gestapo delivered him to the Buchenwald concentration camp , where he was placed in Block 10. There he received prisoner number 3439 after his transfer on October 2, 1941. He died in Buchenwald under unknown circumstances.

His remains were buried in the Suhl cemetery.
