Heinrich Sauerwein

Heinrich Sauerwein (born June 4, 1903 in Friedlos ; † November 18, 1969 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the state assembly of Greater Hesse , a predecessor of the Hessian state parliament .

Heinrich Sauerwein attended elementary school, adult education center and the administrative officer seminar and worked as an administrative officer until 1933. After the seizure of power in 1933 he was dismissed and worked from 1934 to 1945 as a self-employed businessman.

Heinrich Sauerwein had been a member and functionary of the SPD since 1926. 1945 to 1946 he was appointed mayor of the city of Bad Hersfeld . On July 1, 1946, he became the first freely elected district administrator in the Hersfeld district . From July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946 member of the state assembly of Greater Hesse, which advised the constitution.
