Heinrich Schürmann (born October 2, 1922 in Essen-Heisingen ; † May 3, 2010 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Heinrich Schürmann completed a commercial apprenticeship after primary school. After attending vocational school, he passed the business assistant examination. He went through the officer school and navigation school of the Kriegsmarine and then received the patent to lieutenant zS He became clearing boat commander and captain lieutenant zSd R. From 1946 he worked in the housing industry. In 1960 he became authorized representative, 1966 branch manager and 1968 department manager.

politics

Heinrich Schürmann was a member of the CDU. He acted as local chairman of the CDU Essen-Heisingen and member of the district executive committee; formerly he was a district party executive. In 1961 he became a member of the Essen City Council. Furthermore, he became a member of the Christian Union of Germany and a member of the St. Georg Church Council in Essen-Heisingen and was honorary chairman of the DJK Heisingen.

Heinrich Schürmann was directly elected member of the 6th , 7th and 8th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 069 Essen VII from July 25, 1966 to May 28, 1980. He moved up to the ninth state parliament on March 31, 1983 .
