Heinrich Schmidt (born May 11, 1900 in Straßebersbach ; † August 10, 1977 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Heinrich Schmidt did an apprenticeship as a locksmith after primary school, worked in his profession and was chairman of the works council of Buderus'schen Eisenwerke from 1947 and a member of the supervisory board from 1953.

politics

Heinrich Schmidt was a member of the CDU and also active in the associations of the Union. He was chairman of the social committee of the Christian Democratic Workers' Union (CDA) in the districts of Dillenburg and Biedenkopf . He was also a member of the Protestant labor movement.

Schmidt was active in local politics as a member of the municipal council from 1948 and from 1952 to 1956 as a member of the district council of the Dillkreis . From December 1, 1954 to November 30, 1962, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for two electoral terms. In 1959 he was a member of the 3rd Federal Assembly .
