Heinrich Simon (District Administrator)

Heinrich Simon (born January 24, 1883 in Delecke ; † May 26, 1940 in Lippstadt ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Live and act

After the sub-secondary qualification, Heinrich Simon entered the middle judicial service in 1903 and ten years later he was the land registry clerk and main cash controller at the Bochum district court as judicial inspector. In July 1933 he was appointed provisional and then on December 10, 1933, he was appointed mayor of the city of Lippstadt. At the suggestion of the NSDAP Gauleiter Josef Wagner and against the concerns of the District President von Stockhausen and the Prussian Ministry of the Interior , Simon was entrusted with the deputy administration of the Lippstadt District Office on July 18, 1935. After he was entrusted with the provisional performance of the district office on January 17, 1936, the definitive appointment as district administrator of the Lippstadt district followed on May 25, 1936 . He remained in office until his death. Simon was a member of the DNVP and joined the NSDAP on August 1, 1932 .
