Heinrich Strang (born July 18, 1896 in Kornelimünster ; † 20th century) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending elementary school, Strang was trained at the preparatory institute in Aachen and at the teachers' college in Kornelimünster. He later worked as a volunteer in a cloth factory, from which he was finally dismissed for his political activities.

From 1915 Strang took part as a volunteer in the First World War, in which he was deployed at the front from December 1, 1915. During the war he was wounded several times ( wound badge in black), the last time he suffered a serious leg injury in July 1918, which led to a lengthy stay in the hospital, from which he was released in April 1919.

On July 1, 1929, Strang joined the NSDAP (membership number 142.158). Since 1930 he was a full-time functionary in the party service, most recently in the rank of senior division leader of the party, in which he made a career as a political companion of Robert Ley : In the NSDAP, Strang took over tasks as section head, local group leader and district leader. From 1931 to August 15, 1932, he was district leader of the Aachen-Land-Nord district of the NSDAP.

In 1933, Strang became head of the central treasury in the main office for war victims of the NSKOV as Reichsamtsleiter . This was followed by assignments as Reich Organizational Leader of NSKOV and Reich Treasurer of NSKOV. In addition, from 1933 to 1936 he was a member of the organizational management of the Nazi party rallies in Nuremberg. In May 1936 he became "clerk for all questions connected with the Nazi party rally" on the staff of the deputy of the Führer Rudolf Hess .

From March 1936 until his mandate expired in August 1944, Strang was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag as a member of constituency 30 (Chemnitz-Zwickau).

On April 20, 1937, Strang became a member of the SS (SS no. 283.030), in which he achieved the rank of SS standard leader. On December 7, 1943, he was banned from wearing the SS service suit and the SS civilian badge, with immediate effect, and disciplinary proceedings were initiated against him.

Because he had covered financial embezzlement with the NSKOV for years, Strang was expelled from it on May 26, 1944 at the request of the Reich Treasurer of the NSDAP Franz Xaver Schwarz by decision of the Supreme Party Court of the NSDAP. The judgment was formally confirmed on July 24, 1944 by Martin Bormann .
