Heinrich Theiner

Heinrich Theiner (born April 1, 1905 in Burgeis ; † May 19, 1973 ) was a South Tyrolean politician.

Life

Theiner was an innkeeper at the White Cross in Burgeis and a businessman. From 1944 he was chairman of the Vinschger Viehzuchtverband , before it was absorbed into the South Tyrolean Brown Swiss Association in 1949 . He headed the new association as the first chairman until 1966.

Theiner was politically active in the ranks of the South Tyrolean People's Party (SVP). From 1952 to 1960 he was a member of the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol and thus also of the South Tyrolean parliament .
