Heinrich Wedemhof (born June 26, 1617 in Lübeck ; † March 28, 1674 ibid) was a German politician and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Life

Heinrich Wedemhof was the son of Lübeck councilor Bernhard Wedemhof . From 1632 he studies at the University of Rostock . Wedemhof was elected councilor in Lübeck in 1666. The epitaph he set for him in 1677 was in the Marienkirche in Lübeck , where it burned during the air raid on Lübeck on March 29, 1942 . His grave slab there with heraldic cartouche and signature has been preserved. He was the father-in-law of the future mayor Hieronymus von Dorne .
